Highlights for Runners in a Rush!

Since our last update, we’ve kept sprinting ahead—and hope you’ve enjoyed racing right alongside us!
We introduced Custom Races, and whether you’re sharpening your skills or just goofing off with friends, we’re thrilled to see you exploring this feature. We’ve gotten some good suggestions for improvements and hope to address them in the future!
Halloween may be behind us, but we hope its ghostly glow left a lasting mark! The Halloween event brought daily rewards, including spooky accessories and skins, and some temporary game modes to mix things up. We are taking notes on what went well and what didn’t go so well to bring you a better event for Winter. More on that further down.
Along with several new Candy and Cloudy maps, the Gorilla also joined the lineup, and it’s been a joy to watch you slam your opponents. Keep crushing those races and taking names!
Visual Changes
Fun Run has changed since its bloody beginnings over a decade ago. If you’ve been with us since the beginning, you know it used to be gory, bold, and packed with shock factor.
Due to rule changes on our distribution platforms in the past, we found ourselves needing to make quite drastic changes to the identity of Fun Run. We did what we could at the time in order to deliver the updates we wanted. This left us a bit unsure of where to go with Fun Runs core visual identity.
In this update we are excited to update the visuals to bring back the original spirit of Fun Run. We’ve sharpened the visuals to revive Fun Run’s bold, quirky soul. Refreshed death effects and updated animal looks now bring us closer to the look and feel we’ve always wanted—sharp, silly, and unapologetically competitive.
We see this as a starting point and you can expect more updates on this as we continue our efforts to capture the essence of Fun Run in Fun Run 4.
Winter is Coming
The Winter event is just around the corner. You can expect Quests offering Saw Shots or a special Winter Chest. In addition, there will be 2 bigger challenges offering rewards that can only be gotten through completing these challenges.
During the event, we’ll also be trying out two new game modes. The Winter event is just a few weeks away, so get ready for a frosty run!
Saw Shots & Rewards
Lastly, with the addition of Saw Shots, we wanted to make cosmetic items more accessible and provide a good source for Coins and Animal Xp. We still think Saw Shots have a place in the game, but based on your feedback, it’s clear that we didn’t hit the mark we wanted for a lot of you. While we don’t have any announcement on changes here yet, we wanted to let you know that we’ve heard your frustrations with them.
Looking Ahead
Looking into next year, we’re taking in your feedback while working on adding new Animals, Powerups, and cosmetics to keep the races fresh and fun!
