Over the past few months, we’ve been sprinting at full speed to deliver more new content and features than we have been able to previously. We’ve released three new Powerups: the Freeze Axe, Missile, and the Anvil—along with the latest addition to our Animal lineup: the Fox!
We also introduced new Frostflame Skins in an event spanning several weeks. These challenges provided a chance to earn Skins for free! Your feedback has been invaluable, and we’ve been listening closely. Your input is shaping future events and features to make them even more thrilling and rewarding!
We’re a small team with big plans for what we want to bring to you—and while we can’t create it all, we do have some exciting things on the horizon.
Improvements
Our updates often work their magic behind the scenes, sneaking in fixes and improvements, but they are often not as visible. Next week, you’ll see another update like this with several fixes. Most importantly, we’ve finally cracked the case of the Robin and Shield issues!
We usually don't highlight smaller fixes like this, but this one has been a real thorn in our side (and yours!). It’s been a particularly difficult one to figure out, but thanks to your tireless reporting, we were finally able to find the issue and fix it.
Custom Races
We’ve heard your wishes for a game mode that allows setting up private races or practicing maps! We’re introducing Custom Race. A mode where you can race with up to 3 friends in Dash or Duos without the risk of losing your Trophies, on any map you fancy.
In just a few weeks, you can hop into a custom clash with your friends—or start getting some of that sweet practice in so you can dominate in Elites! Time to sharpen those Sawblades!
Halloween
A strange force seems to be spreading and leaving a mark on the lands. If you look closely, you might spot some hints of what’s to come already.
We’ve taken notes from the Frostflame event and are whipping up something for Halloween that addresses a lot of the feedback we got. It is only a few weeks away, and while we can’t spill all the secrets just yet, expect two new maps to be released during the event, more accessible rewarded challenges and maybe a few new twists to your races.
Saw Shots
We’re bringing Saw Shots to Fun Run 4! Saw Shots are a new type of reward that yields a random prize when opened. You'll see this several places throughout the game - most notably they will be collected daily by winning races.
Get ready to experience new ways to rake in Coins, Gems, Accessories, Skins and more - with the release of Saw Shots in a month's time.
Looking Ahead
We’re also itching to unleash yet another animal into the fray. It’s set to arrive soon after Halloween, and we believe it’s going to be an impactful addition!
Looking even further ahead, we have a lineup of more Skins, Powerups, Maps, and ways to race that we're eager to bring to you. Your feedback and support are the fuel that drives us, and you’re all helping shape the future of Fun Run 4.
We're also still committed to keeping races fair, fierce, and fun. We keep looking into unsportsmanlike tactics and hope to share some updates soon.
