Hello! A recent small update just released and we're here to tell you what's up.
Raccoon stealing Porcupine Quill
Look, obviously we didn't intend this. Or even know it was possible. Stealing a quill would leave the power-up button without a proper icon and you could just sort of drop stolen quills when using them.
This breaks the rules of what the Raccoon is supposed to be able to do, but it's also very fun and a huge diss when killing a Porcupine with it's own quill. With that in mind we've properly implemented the missing parts of this. There is now a power-up icon for a stolen quill and it is now possible to aim and throw it. This is not a guarantee that this feature of the Raccoon ability will stay in the game forever or that future ability related objects will be steal-able. As with everything else, future balance updates can add or remove features to tweak the game experience.
For now it remains throwable though. The throwing is admittedly pretty weak and we don't want this to have too big of an impact on balance. Also our thinking is: the weaker it is, makes it all the more disrespectful.
A very tiny clan update
We've added the option to remove a members clan chat messages from the clan when they are kicked from the clan. When kicking a player from your clan you will get an additional popup after confirming the kick asking if you also want to delete that players messages from the chat.
In addition, leave and kick messages will no longer show up in the default clan chat filter. This is to not have clan management activity impact the clan chat experience too much. The messages will still be visible in the clan activity filter. We are also looking into improving how the clan contribution log impacts the clan chat.
That's it for clans. We did say it was very tiny!
Small UI flourishes
This update also has some bug-fixes and small improvements to how currencies and other resources are presented in the UI.
Were you'll notice this the most is in the post-game with Animal Xp and Paw Token Doublers. It should now be more apparent when these are active and what they contributing.
That's it for this time. See you on the tracks.
