
Balance Update!
It's time for a new balance update, so we're back with some adjustments. Here's what's changing. The updates are available in version 2.40.2 which will be coming to your app stores as it becomes available over the coming hours!
Animals
Bunny's Flower Leap has been underperforming. We've reworked the jump to give it more hang time at the peak, making the move feel better and giving a bit more room to breathe mid-air.
Ability
- Added a brief float moment at the peak of the Flower Leap
- Smoother, less aggressive descent
Unicorn has been falling a bit behind. We're speeding up the teleport and making the slow it leaves on opponents more impactful.
Ability
- Reduced Sticky Horn teleport delay: 60 → 36 frames (−40%)
- Increased AoE slow duration: 45 → 60 frames
- Increased slow strength: 40% → 50% across speed, acceleration and top speed
Fox's passive shield was triggering but it was very quick. We're making the invulnerability window much more meaningful.
Passive
- Increased invulnerability window on shield activation: 6 → 15 frames (+150%)
Dragon has been a bit too reliable with Comet Burst. We're giving opponents more time to react before it fires.
Ability
- Doubled the wind-up before Comet Burst fires: 9 → 18 frames
Robin has been at the top of the pack. We're increasing the dash charge requirement and pulling back the top speed slightly.

- Increased charge required for Phase Dash: 800 → 900
Stats
- Slightly reduced top speed (~−1%)
Lion's passive speed boost was stacking in ways we didn't intend. This closes that off.

- Passive speed boost can no longer stack with itself
Hyena: A small trim to bring Hyena more in line with the rest of the roster.

Falcon is still getting off the line a bit too quickly. We're pulling back the acceleration slightly.
