Race with up to 3 friends or bots in Dash or Duos on any map of your choice! For Duos with 3 or more players, teams will be randomized.

Animals

Fox

“Fox came out with a bang and you guys seem to enjoy playing with him. He’s performing slightly below par, so we’re adjusting him a bit.”

Stats:

  • Top Speed: 16.57 → 16.83

Ability

  • Burst on Runner: 33 m/s → 35 m/s
  • Burst on Terrain: 28 m/s → 30 m/s

Lion

“Lion has recovered and his ankle is a bit better. He can run faster, but still not as fast as before. Although, he has made some progress on his sprinting after a successful kill.”

Stats:

  • Top Speed: 17.00 → 17.34

Passive

  • Burst on Kill: 4 m/s → 5 m/s

Dragon

“Dragon is slightly lower in the rankings than we would want him to be, so we’re giving his Ability a slight nudge.”

Ability

  • Burst: 45 m/s → 47 m/s

Chameleon

“Chameleon’s previous buff didn’t do enough to get it up in the rankings, so we’re making it more rewarding to successfully hit with his tongue.”

Ability

  • Tongue Slingshot Burst: 40 m/s → 45 m/s
  • Tongue Pullback Force: 12 m/s → 14 m/s

Cat

“Cat hasn’t seen herself in the spotlight for a while, and that’s because she is a bit under-tuned compared to the other Animals. We’re improving her Ability to make her stronger.”

Ability

  • Duration: 2.5s → 3.0s
  • Speed: 12.5 m/s → 13.5 m/s

Powerups

Baseball Bat

“Baseball Bat has been steadily behind for a while and hasn’t found its place with the other Specials. So we’re bumping it up a bit to hopefully make it more competitive.”

  • Range: 7 m → 8 m
  • Area Width: 1.6 → 1.8
  • Force: 22 m/s → 23 m/s

Elektro Shock

“It’s that time again for Elektro Shock. We missed the mark with these changes, and are reverting them all together. We still need this one to be stronger, as it has a much lower win rate than the other Specials. But we don’t want to make it unavoidable and also not for it to lose its flavors in combination with other types of actions. So we’re adjusting other levers to make it a more favorable Special to use.”

  • [REVERT] Activation time: 0.66s → 1.00s
  • Cooldown: 16s → 12s

Magnet

“Magnet is still ahead in the rankings, and we have gotten some good feedback from you Runners on how to change it. We are starting with doubling its activation time to make it easier to counter it.”

  • Activation Time: 0.5s → 1.0s

Freeze Storm

“Freeze Storm is falling behind in the rankings, so we’re adjusting it so it becomes easier to successfully hit with it.”

  • Activation Time: 2.0s → 1.5s

Slow Storm

“Same thing with Slow Storm. We’re reducing its activation time to give it a bump, in addition to increasing its duration.”

  • Activation Time: 2.0s → 1.5s
  • Slow Duration: 3.0s → 3.5s

Slow Gate

“Slow Gate gets the same treatment..”

  • Activation Time: 2.0s → 1.5s

Sawblade

“Sawblade has a slightly lower win rate than the rest, so we’re adjusting how long it stays alive slightly to mitigate that.”

  • Life Time: 1.9s → 2.1s

Mega Blade

“Same thing with Mega Blade.”

  • Life Time: 2.2s → 2.4s

Impact Grenade

“We have seen that the previous changes to the Impact Grenade didn’t do what we wanted, and didn’t do enough. So we’re adjusting it further to bring it in with the rest of the pack, as its win rate is too damn high.”

  • Death timer: 1.5s → 1.3s
  • Active Charge Gain: 100 → 80

Ice Axe

“We’re giving a bump to Ice Axe, as it’s falling behind.”

  • Cut Freeze Duration: 2.5s → 3.0s
  • Impact Freeze Duration: 3.0s → 3.5s

Sonic Blast

“Sonic Blast is a very good allrounder and is sitting on the high end of the rankings, so we’re nudging it down.”

  • Hit Box Radius: 5.2m → 4.8m
  • Cooldown: 11.0s → 12.0s

Punch Box

“We have seen that there is an issue with the Punch Box that it is hitting Runners multiple times so we’re addressing that.”

  • Fixed an issue where the Punch Box could hit you more times than once
